The goal is to create a different live music experience, more akin to an art gallery than a bar, where the audience is close to the performer and the focus is on the music; bands won’t be trying to drown out conversations.

The Kamloops joint is also going to be all ages. The hope is young music fans will be able to make it out to shows, as well as the 50-to-60 crowd. With a liquor licence in hand, the crew at Red Beard will curate drinks for the shows.
