Jon Treichel and Kira Haug, both from Shuswap and Kamloops, have been playing together for 20 + years in various formations of musical acts. Soul Patch, their original vehicle of Funk, Latin, Rock, R&B, Blues, Reggae and Dance Hall released their debut record Believe In Love while playing steadily with a 7-9 piece band (folklore reports the largest group Soul Patch had on one stage was 21 of the funkiest players who knew how to “Get Down, Get Down”).

Together they have written many original songs with dance hooks, ease and finesse. Soul Patch recently opened for Alex Cuba and have shared the stage with acts such as The Smalls, Five Alarm Funk, Long John Baldry and have played at the Komasket Music Festival, The Kelowna Blues Fest, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues and have been regular guests at The Blue Grotto.

Jon and Kira have been members of Earthbound and are currently a part of the How Sound Collective in Vancouver (formerly Deep In Roots) and have performed at the HYDRA Performing Arts Festival and Electric Love Music Festival in 2019. They are eagerly awaiting their first album to be released this summer.
