Serious Options Choir was founded by current director Noralee Quast in 1995 and is now regarded as one of the premiere chamber choirs in the BC Interior.

Serious Options is known for performing all of their music from memory allowing for a greater connection not only to repertoire but also with their audience. The choir eagerly accepts the challenge not only of adventurous repertoire but also of creative and engaging programming ideas. They sing everything from classics accompanied by string quartets, to Broadway tunes with choreography, to avante-garde choral works.

Serious Options members include both professional and amateur musicians, music teachers and conductors. The Singers are selected by audition and share an enthusiasm for passionate and innovative performance.

Serious Options graces Kamloops stages several times a year, frequently participates in competitive choral classes, and loves to share the stage with other great choirs around the province.
