Marcus is a violinist who grew up in Newfoundland and moved to Kamloops in the summer of 2016. He was a self taught instrumentalist through YouTube while dancing as he played. The reason he plays music is to share his sound with everyone and to show people that anyone can play and grow no matter where they come from, and inspiring others is his passion! Marcus started playing violin about 7 years ago, after playing the piano a few years prior. He had always seen the duets with violin and piano and noticed the violin always had the melody and the fun fast parts as well as the emotional slow tension parts, that’s what kick started it all. His biggest inspirations would have to be Idina Mendzel, Melanie Martinez and Elaine Paige!
